WELCOME to our web site. We hope you enjoy touring around our farm. Jim and I love our farm. We would rather stay here and clean stalls and work with horses more than anything.

Without ever meaning to we ended up owning all black horses! Hence the name Black Horse Farm, a small quiet farm of 15 acres: seven acres of hay field, five acres of paddocks with 4-rail wooden fencing and cedar posts.

About Us

Horses are my life. I have loved horses as far back as I can remember. There is something about a horse. To me it does not matter the breed, age, temperament, color or sex. They are about beauty, power, and have the ability to capture you for life.

Lisa is now a Certified Riding Instructor in English and Western
through the Certified Horsemans Association

And I am also certified in EAGALA, Equine Assisted Growth
and Learning Association.

The purpose of this section of our web site is to share knowledge, educate, and help blind horses and their caretakers.

Unfortunately we believe that too many blind horses are victims of euthanasia or shipped to slaughter. We would like to offer any help in raising, training, or caring for blind horses.
